Musical Muse

Well, since I can't think of anything creative to make, I might as well touch upon my interests...that didn't sound right. Anyways, allow me to mention some of my favorite song artists in this blog.

Damien Rice

I like melancholy music; also I'm a huge fan of string instruments, which is why I find Rice to be very engrossing. I'm mentioning him first since he's essentially my favorite.

Lisa Hannigan

You would think without the backing of Damien Rice, Lisa Hannigan's success would be short-lived, but she has proven to be an incredible solo-artist, and that mesmerizing voice certainly doesn't hurt.

Coldplay

I know. It's uncool to like Coldplay, but honestly, they're a very talented bunch. It's hard not to like them when their kind of music is so mellow and approachable.

And I shall end it there and possibly continue on in another blog since I'm currently pressed on time. If you think you have my musical taste pegged, feel free to suggest other bands. I'm always looking for new tunes.

  1. I read about cold play in a recent magazine issue. Lotta history with that bunch.

  3. Yeah, for the most part, I prefer slow music. Although, my range does vary. I'm a pretty big System of a Down fan at times.
